Bomber foil box insert for Foil board, sup, surf and wing (comes in two colors)

Bomber Foil board box insert in high density foam in white or black.

Perfect for converting an existing board or for a new foil board.
This 2 track high density foil box is composed of precut PVC insert and 2 US large fin boxes. Oversize fin boxes to adjust foil mast and larger openings for the larger manufacture mast hardware. PVC is CNC cut for perfect fit. Room to add fiberglass to fin box or float with resin.

Foil box fin system spaced at industry standard 3.50″ [90mm] apart on center to accept the foil mast base plate.

How to install a surf foil high density mast insert:

1. Center the foil on the board at the propoer location (See suggested placement below). Trace the insert and route for a snug fit. If there’s play in the box install lay pieces of fiberglass or carbon in the hole to take up space and provide more support.
2. Install the insert with epoxy resin, tape over the finbox slots so resin doesn’t get in and laminate a patch of fiberglass or carbon over the insert and the bottom of the board. If foam is lightweight foam use Gorilla glue to expand. Make sure you add a weight to the top so it does not move. Scrape excess away.
3. Cut through the reinforcement with a razor blade to remove the tape when the resin gels (about 45 mins – 1 hour).
4. Tape over the finboxes again and sealcoat with epoxy resin

General Installation Specs from Foil Track Mount. Specs’ are based from the end of tail to the centre of the box. Please note foils are ridden directly beneath the rear foot.
