What’s new at Walk on Water

This month, We’re partnering up with renowned local fiber artisan, Beth Deeley, from Wicked Waves Fiber Arts Studio and the creative Team at Terrarium Therapy to bring you (and your loved ones!) a totally unique Community Workshop Series.

Our new workshop series officially begins December 6th and will continue throughout the winter.

And we’re so EXCITED about it!

These workshops are perfect for all-levels, beginner to advanced, small groups, adults and youth. Most of the workshops will cater for youth over 10+ yrs. too.

Registration fees cover all materials, instruction and a ton of camaraderie.

Here’s what we have planned for the month of December…

Macrame Wreath Ornament Workshop / DECEMBER 6, TUESDAY, 6-8PM (EST)

Learn how to make a beautiful wreath project in this macrame workshop hosted by Beth Deeley from Wicked Waves Fiber Arts Studio. This is a beginner friendly level workshop, all levels are welcome and no prior experience is needed. It’s the perfect addition to your home holiday decor or gift to a friend.

All materials will be supplied along with light refreshments.

Pop-Up Plant Bar at Walk on Water / DECEMBER 17, SATURDAY, 1-3PM (EST)

Build your own succulent arrangement. Terrarium Therapy will offer a retail pop-up shop with pre-made planters, as well as our build-your-own plant bar, featuring some of their most popular holiday planters.

Various succulents, tropical plants, and cacti will be available as you select your own pot to match. Learn how to build and care for your very own succulent creation.

Reservations are free, planting projects vary in price. Based on space and set up, plant bar times may change.

In-Person Holiday Terrarium Workshop / DECEMBER 17, SATURDAY, 6-7PM (EST)

During this workshop, you will create a beautiful arrangement of succulents in the form of a Christmas tree or plant them inside of a holiday globe terrarium. Hosted by Terrarium Therapy.

Your workshop experience will include either:

(1) cone for the base of the tree, an abundance and variety of succulents, dried florals, floral pins, bells, and holiday adornments.

OR

A glass globe terrarium, a variety of succulents, soil, moss, stone, dried florals, floral pins, bells, and holiday adornments.

Macrame Boho Leaf Workshop / DECEMBER 31, SATURDAY, 2-4PM (EST)

Leap into 2023! Learn how to make your own macramé décor. This is a beginner level workshop and a great introduction to macramé wall hanging projects. All levels are welcome and no prior experience is needed. Beth Deeley of Wicked Waves Fiber Arts Studio will provide all instruction and examples. Celebrate with colorful leaves!
