Pacific Paddle Games!

Today begins the Pacific Paddle Games in Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, CA. This is considered by many as one of the biggest paddle races for our sport. With a run time of 3 days consisting of distant races and multi-heat technical races with Pro, Open, Junior, and Prone divisions, it is a fun-filled weekend of excitement and paddle stoke! On land there are demos, clinics, and a plenty of new paddling gear to be tried out!

It’s easy to see why the PPG has risen to the top of the paddling community as one of the few ‘can’t miss’ races.

The races include:

PRO SUP Men/Women, PRO Jr SUP Boys/Girls, PRO Prone Men/Women
– Lap Distance: 2 laps, 0.8 miles
– Lap Distance Finals: 3 laps, 1.2 miles

A distance course:
Pro/Open 6 Mile, Youth/Open 3 Mile
